**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and creative Baker to join our team. You will be responsible for crafting a variety of delicious pastries, cakes, and other baked goods, contributing to our bakery's reputation for high-quality, handcrafted treats. 

**Responsibilities:**

* **Production:**

* Prepare a wide range of pastries, including hand-cut donuts, apple fritters, croissants, cookies, cupcakes, and specialty cakes for birthdays and weddings.

* Follow recipes and production standards meticulously to ensure consistency and high quality.

* Decorate and present baked goods attractively, according to company standards.

* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

* Assist with inventory management, ensuring freshness and appropriate stock levels.

* **Creative Development:**

* Research and develop new seasonal products to keep the menu exciting and appealing to customers.

* Experiment with new flavors, fillings, and techniques to create unique and innovative pastry offerings.

* Contribute ideas for special events and promotions.

* **Teamwork & Collaboration:**

* Work effectively as part of a team, supporting other bakery staff members.

* Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth production flow and timely completion of orders.

* Share knowledge and skills with colleagues to foster a positive and supportive work environment.

**Qualifications:**

* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Baker in a professional setting.

* Strong knowledge of pastry basics & techniques, dough making, cake decorating. 

* Ability to create a variety of hand-crafted pastries, including delicate and intricate designs.

* Proven experience in developing and implementing new product recipes.

* Passion for baking and a commitment to using high-quality ingredients.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

* Food handler's certification required.
