Come join our team as a Crew Scheduler! Working as a strategic member of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for scheduling our hourly workforce on the production floor. Were hoping you can take a new angle on what otherwise might be ordinary. You will be the liaison between Supervisors and other members of Plant Staff, supporting any hourly position movement. And with your s Scheduling Extraordinaire - You will be responsible for scheduling on-site hourly crews for defined shifts on our production floor and maintaining appropriate scheduling records (Leave of Absences, Vacation, and Bereavement) for the facility. You will be the primary contact for the hourly workforce and will be responsible for scheduling training, company functions and community events. Continuous Collaboration You will be serving as the liaison to Supervisors and other staff to understand the production demand in order to schedule employees accordingly. You will also support employee development initiatives through training and the development of plant leadership. Recording & Reporting You will maintain accurate reporting of labor for each shift, entering employee attendance into appropriate databases and creating individual and summary trend reports. Some of the reports you manage will include Monthly Hours Not Worked and Overtime Reports in accordance to the collective bargaining agreement. Following Best Practices You will be responsible for the compliance of Food Safety within the plant including proper sanitary conditions, allergen control, pest control as well as other policies and procedures. elf-starter, go-getter, team-player work ethic, were positive youll fit right in.
Skills Required
Effective organizational and time management skills. Ability to function in a union environment and promote positive employee relations. Intermediate to advanced computer skills primarily Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Skills Preferred
Scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment SAP and Kronos knowledge Experience working in a Union environment General knowledge of food industry and manufacturing practices
Experience Required
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office
Education Required
High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience.
