Human Capital Management Training Specialist - in Human Resources Administration (HRA) division. Will support Georgia agencies in the implementation of talent solutions and talent acquisition support and performance management state-wide programs. Human Capital Management (HCM) Training Specialist

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

TheGeorgia Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) is excited to acceptapplications for this position inthe Human Resources Administration (HRA) division. The Human Resources Specialists 3 willsupport Georgia agencies in the implementation of talent solutions with aspecific focus on the talent acquisition support and performance managementstate-wide programs. We are looking fora dynamic, data-driven, and detail-oriented contributor to assist in providing training,consultation, analysis and technical expertise around talent acquisition and performancemanagement. Our ideal applicant will beself-aware, with an understanding of system implementation and able to developand deliver training through the state. The ideal candidate must be technologically savvy, results driven,innovative and will be responsible for: d Delivering training and contentrelated the State's newest humanresources information system Workday branded as ************* style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Symbol;mso-fareast-font-family:Symbol;mso-bidi-font-family:Symbol"> Providing training and resourcesto agency recruiters related to talent pool optimization, creating internshipprograms, interviewing, and hiring best practices, and using Workday tostreamline the recruiting process. Researching GA@WORK training bestpractices to support continuous program improvement. Analyzingrelevant GA@WORK-related data and generating graphic and narrative reports andpresentations. Maintaining and updating trainingcourse materials, exercises, hand-outs, and exams to reflect best practices;incorporate changes in policies, processes, forms, or systems; and in responseto student feedback. Conducting instructor-led trainingvirtually and in-person training to deliver HRA-approved training courses stateentity staff. Utilizing systems trainingenvironments or other related tools to lead student activities. Assisting with maintenance of HRA'sLearning Management System (LMS), to include responding to requests forenrollment in learning paths, courses or exams and other administrativeactivities. Respond to requests from a varietyof stakeholders. Other responsibilities as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, andAbilities: Experience delivering trainingthrough multiple methods of delivery including in-person, online, virtual,multimedia, etc. Good communication skills are amust with the ability to communicate effectively and credibly both verbally andin writing with audiences at all levels. Program management andadministration skills: organization, managing details, keeping multipletasks/projects on track. Aptitude for learning and usingtechnology for both training design and data analysis. Experience with Microsoft Officeapplications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint This position may require some travel. DOAS participates in a hybrid work environment and telework is encouraged with some days in the office required.

MINIMUM ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of job-relatedexperience in human resources; OR one (1) year of experience required at the lower-level HR Spec 2(HRP021) or position equivalent . Note: Anequivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience,training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills tosuccessfully perform the job at the level listed may be substitutedyear-over-year.
