Job Description

Description We are seeking a Family Law Attorney to join our team in Sacramento, California. As a Family Law Attorney, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks related to family law cases, including conducting negotiations, preparing and arguing motions, and dealing with various aspects of family law. Responsibilities: - Provide legal advice to clients on family law matters - Draft and review legal documents related to family law cases - Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients - Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials - Conduct legal research to support case preparation - Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for the presentation of cases - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and legal developments in the field of family law - Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judicial officers, and team members - Manage and oversee paralegals and legal assistants - Ensure all legal actions taken are in compliance with the law and ethical standards. Requirements - Extensive knowledge and experience in Family Law practice - Proven ability to draft, review, and file legal motions - Strong negotiation skills in mediating between parties and reaching agreements - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work well in a team as well as independently - Strong understanding of legal code and court procedures - Must hold a valid license to practice law - High ethical standards and professional integrity - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Ability to maintain client confidentiality - Commitment to continuing education in Family Law practices and procedures.
