Job Description

A Hotel Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing all hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry. This role ensures that the hotel maintains high standards of cleanliness and presentation for guests. Key Responsibilities: * Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold hotel linens, towels, and staff uniforms * Operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment * Use appropriate detergents and stain removers for different fabrics * Inspect linens and towels for stains, tears, or damage and report issues * Maintain laundry inventory and restock cleaning supplies as needed * Ensure laundry room cleanliness and adhere to hotel safety regulations * Handle guest laundry requests, including washing, drying, and ironing (if applicable) * Follow hotel policies and procedures for handling lost and found items Requirements & Skills: * Previous experience in a hotel laundry or housekeeping role is a plus * Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods * Knowledge of different fabrics and proper laundering techniques * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays Work Environment: * Fast-paced hotel setting with exposure to heat and humidity from laundry machines * Requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
