We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Performance Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute performance test scripts to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our software applications. Using tools like k6, JMeter, Locust, and Lighthouse , you will identify bottlenecks, measure system performance under varying conditions, and provide actionable insights to optimize performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as k6, JMeter, Locust, and Lighthouse. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to define performance testing requirements and objectives. Analyze system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, latency, and other issues affecting performance. Simulate complex user behaviors and workloads to assess system scalability and reliability. Generate detailed reports on performance test outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement. Continuously enhance performance testing processes and frameworks to align with industry best practices. Qualifications: Proven experience with performance testing tools like k6, JMeter, Locust, or Lighthouse. Strong understanding of software performance testing methodologies and best practices. Proficiency in scripting and automation for performance test scenarios. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into DevOps workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
