Job Description

Looking to hire remote Sales Development Representative with at least 5 years solid experience in Sales (Education-Technology exposure preferred)

Client location: UK

VA SCHEDULE: 9am to 1pm UK Time zone

GOAL:

Our UK based clients in Edu-Tech industry are looking to scale their sales efforts and boost growth. They currently lack an in-house sales team and are interested in outsourcing cold calling and lead generation specialist. They specifically seek an expert-tier, part-time Sales Development Representative (SDR) who can maintain their company's reputation and trust in their sensitive sector.

Client’s Industry: Regulated industry (nursery and schools), where trust and reputation are highly important.

Top 3 Key Specific Tasks VA will do:

1\. Cold Calling

2\. Lead Generation: Sourcing leads and finding contact information.

3.High-Level Sales Discussions/Deal Closing

Tools: CRM, email, dialer

Client Notes:

The candidate's job would be to pitch new clients among UK nurseries and schools. Some of the players are individual organizations led by a hands-on owner or manager and are usually not very tech-savvy and quite reluctant to change. Others are more sophisticated nursery chains where the interlocutor would be the head of HR/Procurements/Operations. The ideal candidate would be able to deal with both categories.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any bachelor's degree or certificate course.

• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience and proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and successfully manage customer relationships

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (neutral accent)

• Excellent phone, email, and instant messaging communication skills

• Solid organizational and time management skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Tech savvy & familiar with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services, CRM, and VoIP

• Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets (e.g., MS Office)

• Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g., Google Calendar)

• Proactive & confident with keen attention to details

• Able to work on client's business hours

Technical Requirements:

• USB Headset with Noise Cancellation feature

• Working Webcam

• Computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and at least 4GB RAM

• Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps cable connection

• Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps
