Adtalem Global Education is seeking a motivated and skilled IT / Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition. In this contract role, you will play a critical part in identifying and engaging top technical talent to support our digital transformation and workforce solutions mission.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in full-cycle technical recruiting, excels at building pipelines in competitive markets, and is energized by connecting high-performing talent with meaningful career opportunities. This role requires strategic thinking, consultative partnership with hiring leaders, sourcing expertise, and the agility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to understand technical talent needs and define recruiting strategies
Source candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, databases, social media, and other nontraditional channels
Engage and assess candidates through screening conversations focused on technical skills and experience
Provide data-driven insights and guidance, including market trends and compensation benchmarks
Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, from role definition and sourcing to offer negotiations
Maintain accurate and timely records in the Applicant Tracking System (SmartRecruiters), ensuring compliance and reporting integrity
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Compensation, and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless hiring experience
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey
Support other Talent Acquisition initiatives and special projects as needed
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles (e.g., AI and Banner Developers, Architects, Engineers); corporate or in-house experience strongly preferred
Advanced sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other sourcing platforms
Strong familiarity with ATS systems, preferably SmartRecruiters
Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
Sound judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical with a proactive mindset
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected hourly pay range for this position is between $50.00 and $60.00 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
