Are you the kind of person who walks into a warehouse and immediately sees what’s wrong and how to fix it?

Our client—a well-established and rapidly growing commercial roofing company in Laurel, MD —is urgently looking for a Warehouse Manager who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and lead a major warehouse transformation.
This is a high-impact role for someone who is both mechanically inclined and operationally minded. If you’ve worked in roofing (yard, field, or warehouse), have a knack for processes, and are the go-to fixer— we need to talk .

What You’ll Be Tackling

• Reorganize the current warehouse layout, implement smart inventory systems, and streamline material flow
• Create and manage new processes to improve speed, safety, and accuracy in warehouse operations
• Ensure the right tools, materials, and equipment are sent to the right jobs at the right time
• Inspect, maintain, and track small engines and roofing-specific equipment to keep everything jobsite-ready
• Manage incoming/outgoing deliveries, supervise warehouse staff, and support field production
• Maintain cleanliness, compliance, and operational excellence

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Roofing industry experience is highly beneficial – You understand the materials, the timelines, and what crews expect
• You’ve led or participated in a warehouse overhaul (think: reorg, process creation, or efficiency upgrades)
• You’re mechanically savvy and can troubleshoot or coordinate maintenance for small engines, compressors, welders, etc.
• You’re tech-comfortable (inventory systems, Excel, maintenance logs)
• You’re organized, proactive, and thrive when solving problems
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
